Dear Victorians,

VinE Night is here again! Mark this date on your calendars – 25^th February 2012.

Join your fellow Victorians in Europe for some food, fun and laughter! Tuck into heartwarming food, get to know other Victorians through exciting games, capture those nostalgic memories at a photo booth, and stand a chance to win attractive prizes at the lucky draw.

The theme for this year is Shorts, Slippers and Sand, so bring your beachwear to change into!

Time: 24^th February 2012, 5.30pm

Cost: £10 for Londoners, £5 for those outside London

Hello my fellow Victorians! I hope everyone has had a good term! School’s almost out and the Christmas vacation awaits us!

As you would already be aware, VinE held our Annual General Meeting this afternoon, during which time the 6th Executive Committee was elected. It is my great pleasure in presenting to you the new executive committee for 2011/2012:

President: Wayne Teo Yong Hoe
Vice President: Jarren Loe
Secretary: Daniel Ong
Treasurer: Lynette Lim
Creative Director(Publicity): Phua Hsuan Te
Events Officer: Benjamin Neo and Desiree Celeste Sim

The positions of Creative Director (Web) and Liaison Officer are still open.

I’d like to take this opportunity to thank each and everyone of you for working with us over the past year. We hope you had as much fun at our events as we did in planning for them. I would also like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the 5th Committee for all their hard work over the past year. On behalf of everyone, I’d like to wish Wayne and his team a wonderful and meaningful term ahead! Nil Sine Labore!

Survey on Overseas Studies

My name is Adimulya, from class of 11S43. My Project Work group is making a checklist to identify the risk factors of studying overseas. Our purpose is to help current VJC students make an informed decision on whether to study overseas.

We are actually conducting a survey for VJC alumni overseas, asking
about experiences. Hopefully we can get 50 replies or more. We would
be very grateful if you can spend some time doing this survey.
